Guide: How to Join WMV, AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV, ASF?

Step 1

1. Do not run any other program in the background while Advanced X Video Converter is running, especially if you have a slower computer.
2. Turn OFF your Screen Saver, it will simply slow the conversion down by hours.
3. Re-boot the computer just BEFORE you start the conversion, in this way you have the best conditions as possible. Do not under estimate this step, I find it essential to guarantee a 100% perfect encode.

Step 2 Add source video files

1. Click the "Add Task" button on the main window.


2. Click "Join Video Files" on the "Task Window".



3. Click the "Add File" button to add source files that you want to join. The source file could be AVI, WMV/ASF and MPEG. You can join video files of different formats. For example, you can join multiple AVI files and WMV files to a large MPEG file in just one step, don't have to convert them to MPEG format in advance.

4. Use the "Up" button and the "Down" button to change the joining order. To delete/add a video file, click the Delete/Add Files button on the left toolbar, or right click on the file list and select Add/Delete/Delete All.

Step 3 Set the output profile

1. Choose a target format.
2. Choose a corresponding video codec for the output file (for advanced users). General users could just leave the default value.
3. Select the location where you want the output file to be saved.

Step 4 Click the "Start" button.

This should be the picture you'll get after you have added the task. You can add as many as you want and have then processed all together. Simply click the "Start" button to start conversion.
