Click on the sound you want to speed up or slow down.

Select "Rate" from the drop down box on the tool bar.

Raise the horizontal line on the sound to speed it up, lower it to slow it down.

3. I load my saved mix (sgp file) and it crashes at around 97%.
The temporary files used with MP3 Audio Mixer may have become corrupt. Run MP3 Audio Mixer. Select "Preferences" from the "File" menu Then select the "Miscellaneous" tab and click "Delete Temporary Files". It will ask you "Are you Sure?", click "yes". Shut down MP3 Audio Mixer, start it again and load in your saved mix or SGP file.

4. I can't seem to load WMA files or create WMA files!
You may not have installed the Microsoft WMA engine which is required. To download and install WMA support, click here.

IMPORTANT: If you have a brand new install of WinXP SP2, you may need to run this additional patch program wma-sp2-fix.exe in order to use WMA properly with the MP3 mixer software.

5. I get pops & clicks when playing more than x tracks at a time.
The computer is having trouble keeping up with all the sounds that are being mixed. The solution is to click "Preferences" from the "File" menu, click the "Playback" tab and up the number of buffers and/or buffer size. Click "OK" to lock them in and see if the problem goes away.

6. How do I save as Realaudio®?
You'll need to download and install the Realaudio® plugin for MP3 Audio Mixer.

7. My RealAudio® files are sounding scratchy upon playback with the RealOne® player
There appears to be a problem/bug in the RealOne player where you hear distortion at random times in the song. (The key is that the scratches are not in the same spot.) The solution to this is to decrease the "Buffered Play" to 10 seconds or so.

Launch RealOne player.

Click on the >> 'chevron' and select "Tools"

Click and expand "Connections" followed by clicking on "Playback Settings"

Reduce "Buffered Play" to 10 seconds and click OK.  More MP3 Mixer FAQs
